Consolidated CPU Report

Hi Community,

I am new to Hyperic HQ which runs on our WIN2k-cluster with version 3.2.3. I am interested in monitoring the CPU usage of our cluster and set up a proper resource.

But I need a report of the average CPU usage off all mashines (ca. 700 CPUs) for 24 hours over a certain period of time. I.e., the averaged daily CPU usage between 0:00 A.M. and 11:59 P.M. from the last month. Would be nice to have such a consolidated plot.
Is there a possibility to set up the resource to produce such a plot????

If you grouped all 700 CPUs into a single compatible group, you can
aggregate the data across all of those resources for given metrics.
Fair warning, though, 700 resources in a single group is pretty
significant, so do expect some sluggishness when the UI is trying to
present the data.

I am sorry being late with the reply.

I have grouped the CPUs (240 only). I suppose that the indicator charts show me the averaged usage of all CPUs????

If so, I can have a look for the average CPU usage over a day. But what I want to have is a chart over a day, which show the average (daily) usage over a month/week. Just the things one can do with RRDTool.

Is that possible??
