I am facing
problem installing SQL Server 2012 on VMware workstation(10) with Windows 7, I
am getting message as 'The operating system on this computer does not meet the
minimum requirements for SQL Server 2012. For Windows Vista or Windows Server
2008 operating systems, Service pack 2 or later is required. For windows 7 or
windows server 2008 R2, Service pack 1 or later is required. For more

but I am able to install SQL Server 2012 on VMware workstation with Windows
2012 R2. please let me know solution for installing SQL Server 2012 on VMware
workstation with Windows 7.
