Can anybody help me with this information please.
I recommend you to refer - "VCP VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 4 Study Guide: Exam VCP-410". I also recommend you to keep your eyes on VMware blogs. There are a lot of useful blogs to improve your skills in VMware platform.
On my own interest, I suggest you to watch David Davis' Train signal videos. Watching videos are better than reading books
Thanks,
Ganesh
Books by Scott Lowe are pretty good. Good information.
But I find that reading the VMware documents are better for VCP exam preparation.
In my opinion vSphere books are great if you don't understand a concept of want an explanation of how you perform a particular task, but I've looked at all the VCP "study books" available and they all contain errors in their text and their practice questions, so I can't recommend them for use.
My blog has a good amount of VCP information on it for both VCP4 and VCP5: http://vmwaretraining.blogspot.com
Scott.
Hi Scott
David Davis, i am gonna chech it out, Thanks
Are you VCP Certified?
Thanks i am gonna check your blog, i see you have a lot of vmware Certifications and that impressed me so that means you have a lot of experience in the field
i have another question...How much do i have to pay to take the VCP Certification exam?
The cost of the exam is low compared to the cost of the VMware authorized course, you have to attend.
See http://mylearn.vmware.com/mgrReg/plan.cfm?plan=12457&ui=www for VCP requirements.

For the VCP exam seems that there is a 25% discount code.
See: http://www.vladan.fr/sharing-promo-code-for-vcpvcapvca-until-30th-of-november/
Hi all,

The promotional code referred to was provided to those attending VMWorld in the US in August, it was not intended to be used by anyone booking their exam, that's why you won't find it listed anywhere under the VCP pages.
Hi Scott,
thanks for your clarification to my question.
