Hi All,
Information about required courses for VCP 4 on the website is not highly useful. Can you please provide more information about VCP 4 exam/Certification. I believe candidate needs to go through required training hosted by VMWare and there is more to it.
Please direct me to appropriate source.
Welcome to the Community,
actually you can attend one of the required courses mentioned at http://mylearn.vmware.com/mgrReg/plan.cfm?plan=22519&ui=www_cert wherever you want, as long as it is a VMware authorized training center. After attending the course, it's up to you to study/practice before taking the exam.

Thanks Andre, this is useful. I am looking for courses options now.
IMO, if you are new to vSphere you should probably go with the VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V4.1] course. If you already have experience, the VMware vSphere: Troubleshooting [V4.x] might be an option.
Btw. is there a reason you want to go for VCP4 and not VCP5?
André
You can have some problem to find a v4 course... most now are v5.
So, if you really need to take the VCP4 certification, I suggest to find the first useful course and take the exam as soon is possible (also the VCP4 exam may be retired, but is not yet official when).
As others have said, it is now much easier to find vSphere 5 training than vSphere 4 training, so you might be better going for the VCP5 certification.
Thanks Scott, I am looking into the options. Unfortunately i don't find any courses for the weekends, I am looking into options.
With the vSphere 5 ICM class being 5 days, I do not think you will find it offered over a weekend -
