Invalid HT config for esx4.1 in Intel i7

Hi,

I installed esx 4.1 in i7 and after a bios setup : TSC : invalid HT config (numHT16, numPCPUS 😎

is the CPU configuration in Bios is not propely setup ?

OK : Thank you. I dad a look and decide to change in BIOS :

- HyperThreading : Intel HT : disabled

- Active Proc Cores : 1

It's working now, but ... what is this low performance ? 1 CPU, 1 Processor Sockets, 1 Cores per Socket, 1 Logical Processors, ... for a Intel i7

I found the ultimate solution in BIOS for Intel i7:

> CPU Configuration / Max CPUID VALUE LIMIT : "Disabled"

That allow to use all CPU & Core
