VCSA 6.5 Upgrade Stage 2: Pre-upgrade ckeck results in Error

Hi Community,

i can't upgrade vcsa from 6.0u2 to 6.5. In upgrade stage 2 i get an error in the pre-upgrade check:

"Error: vCenter Server applinance manages the ESXi host on which it runs. Resoultion: You must provide the Esxi host on which the vcenter Server is running and make sure the cluster where the ESXi host resides is not set to fully Automated DRS for the duration of the upgrade process"

I have disabled DRS in the cluster but error still exist. has anybody the same error and cpuld fix it ?

Regards,

Nikolas

If your source vCenter manage the cluster where you're deploying the new vCenter Server Appliance 6.5, you should specify an ESXi host on the following screen:

How do you edit those settings? Do I just restart the Installer and change them at the beginning?

You have to cancel delete the VMCSA 6.5 and restart.

To change the settings without deleting the 6.5 VCSA appliance, just cancel the setup, then open a browser and go to https://VCSA6.5IP:5480/#/installer?locale=en.

It will let you re-enter the upgrade information.
