Upgrading vCenter 2.5 update 4 to vSphere 5.0

I just realized that my vCenter 2.5 is only at update 4. I plan on creating a 64 bit VM and then do a fresh install of vSphere 5.0. Since I'm doing a fresh install, do I have to worry about first updating my vCenter to update 6?

With a fresh install you do not have to worry about upgrading to Update 5
