Hi all,
I am trying to install ESX 4.0 onto our new Dell PowerEdge R510 server and have hit a massive issue. I am aware that normally ESX cannot be installed on SATA RAID volumes but I was advised that it was possible on this server due to the way the server presents the disks.
I've just ran through the install after configuring the RAID, got to the bit where you need to select an install location and surprise surprise there is nothing there.
I've just been told that I need to install with a later version so I'm currently downloading ESX 4.1, any clues as to whether this will work??
