starwind iscsi storage Problem

Hi,

I'm new to vmware kindly help me

i create a lab in my home for preparing vcp exam. When i create a iscsi storage using starwind image file (External usb hard disk ) and add i try to add the stoage in the vmware storage it does not show the datastore but when i create a internal harddrive it shows the datastore can any one kindly help to solve the issue

Hello,

Post moved to the vSphere Storage forum.

All datastores must be mounted/targeted through a vmkernel device if you want them to be used as a location for a virtual disk.

i find the answer my self we have to add vmkernal portgroup then only it works...:smileycool:.......
