Microsoft Cluster Services - vmware

If a vm is running 2008, and will be used for Microsoft cluster services, can the OS disk be thin provisioned ?

Hello.

No, the disk format must be thick.  This is documented in the "Setup for Failover Clustering and Microsoft Cluster Service" document.

I´m not expert with MSCS in VMware, but i found follow information:

You cannot use thin-provisioned disks for the Windows OS vmdk’s, they have to be thick.
