I am trying to give a domain user access to log into a host in a vcenter, but only manage 1 of the VMs in on the host. I want him to have minimal permissions on the host. I’d prefer he did not even see the other VMs residing on the host.
I gave him Read-only at the host level, but when he tries to connect to the host via the web gui, he gets access denied.
I configured an AD w/LDAP identity source for my domain so that he could use his domain account.
What am I missing?
