Install IIS 6 on Virtual center, will it cause any probs?

HI all,
to cut a long story short I would like to install iis
on my vc server so I can use the smtp smarthost to relay san alerts
from the san to the exchange server (the vc server has a nic on the
iscsi network).
Has anyone installed iis after installing vc and come across any problems?

Hello,

Moved to VI: VirtualCenter 2.x forum.

The short answer is, its possible, but the long answer is that VC requires port 80 and 443 for its own use, so you will have to configure different ports to use within IIS.

Generally I would NOT do this.
