Does vCenter Server run on Windows Server 2008?

If it does are there any known tricks or issues?

Wait until vCenter 4.0 and ESX 4.0, Windows 2008 should be supported, but I've seen people can install vCenter server on Windows 2008 by hacking the license manager piece from ESRI forum.

I haven't tried. Based on earlier notes in the thread Windows Server 2008 support won't be available until VC 4.0 is released.
