VMware Identity Manager - manifest example

Hello all,

We have Workspace ONE Access appliances and can quickly verify that the device is just that by looking at the following manifests:

  • /opt/vmware/etc/appliance-manifest.xml
  • /opt/vmware/var/lib/vami/update/data/info/manifest-installed.xml

Example:

  <product>WorkspaceOneAccess</product>
  <version>21.08.0.1</version>
  <fullVersion>21.08.0.1 Build 19010796</fullVersion>
  <vendor>VMware, Inc.</vendor>

Can somebody please post this section from a VMware Identity Manager appliance or confirm what the product name is in the <product> tags so that we can automate the detection of these appliances for the recent security advisories?

Thank you

I found an Identity Manager appliance and the product name is the expected 'IdentityManager' in the manifest:

  <product>IdentityManager</product>

Are you stating that you scanned your network and this was a result, but you do not know what WS1 Access is as a product?

The 21.08.0.1 build of Access was released on December 14th, 2021 and is supported until September 6th, 2023.
