I have an issue where the disk array that our ESX Farm is on has no more disk space - with the financial issues that many company's are facing now they do not want to spend any more money. We have another array which has 6tb free and my superiors are asking why I can't use that disk space. I have resisted until now as trying to manage an ESX Farm across 2 arrays has always seemed very messy, but I am now getting big pressure to do it.
My question is: Is this configuration supported by VMWare, and if so should I expected to see any performance degredation?
