Did anyone get an email from test@vmware.com last night?
Dan
One, why is the email from test@vmware.com? What is this test shizit? Two, who is the moron that developed the page with all the f'd up code, links that don't work, and images that don't show. I have a hard time believing this is coming from VMware and if it actually IS coming from VMware someone should be fired. I thought VMware hired the best and brightest.
Anyway, way to go VMW!!! Send out b.s. spam to waste my valuable time.
Take a look here http://www.vmware.com/community/thread.jspa?threadID=101607
Thanks. In my opinion this could have been done so much better. Oh well..... At least they are nice enough to send us a free shirt.
Almost anything could be done better - but in this case it's the shirt that counts not the design of the redemption website.
I got this and noticed a typo in the URL, but removing that typo failed too (does not exist). Is this legit? A spammer?

Hello Ant,
Thank you for using the VMTN Discussion Forums to talk about technical issues and connect with other users.
During the last year, we've gotten hundreds of new VMware fans that are deserving of a VMTN "Board Warrior"
+shirt. You are getting this email because you are one of those people.
Redeeming your shirt is easy. Simply go to the following link, and confirm/fill out your address and shirt
+size:
http://wwwa.vmware.com/jive/index.php?id=.
In a week or two, after most people have replied to this mail, we'll be sending out an order to get the shirts
+made and shipped out to you.
Thanks again for participating as a valued member of our user community!

Defaced the link, you surely don't want someone else to get your shirt.

Did anyone get an email from test@vmware.com last
night?
I recieved my e-mail last January but I still haven't recieved any shirt.
Jason
ok i cant be bothered reading through this whole thread. Is this legit or not? i dont want to put in my personal information if it isnt
Sorry for the confusion -- the mail and the shirts are legit. You're welcome not to redeem yours, but they are snazzy.
If you have trouble with the email or the shirt doesn't show up, private message me or rdellimmagine, or send an email to vmtn_team here at VMware.

Yes. The page should look a bit better now.
JDLangdon or anyone who filled out the form previously but has not yet received their shirt, shoot a PM to johntroyer or rdellimmagine or an email to vmtn_team.
They sure are! I forgot to mention that I too got my Warrior T-Shirt, couple of weeks back!!!
No thre is nothing on the back but it is of a reasonable quality and I would recommend that you collect yours. people have sweated blood and tears to make sure the VMware continued this thankup perk.
There was a time when they "Forgot" to send them out for a period of 18 months, and forgive the pun, we got a little "shirty" and as a result I believe generated the longest thread in the history of the forum. Not much was complementary if my memory serves me well.
