Can you please elaborate more on your query?. It would be great if you give what you did and what you want to know (step by step).

sure will provide u the complete details.

We have three production servers ,

VMDB01

VMAPP01

VMWEB01

THESE SERVERS ARE DEPENDENT ON EACH OTHER, WE ARE PLANNING TO PERFORM WINDOWS PATCHING FOR THAT WE WILL USE SNAPSHOT TECHNOLOGY HENCE WANT TO KNOW WHAT WILL THE SNAPSHOT SEQUENT FOR CREATE AND DELETE FOR THESE VMS AND  IF PATCHING ACTIVITY FAILS THEN WHAT WILL BE THE SEQUENCE TO REVERT THE SNAPSHOT.

As per me,

Snapshot creation: DB >> Web >> App

Snapshot deletion::App >> Web >> DB

Snapshot revert:App >> Web >> DB
