How to have working network eth0 with vmxnet3 without VMtools ?

Hi,

How to have working network eth0 with vmxnet3 without VMtools ?

Meaning , after VM machine was created  , and network interface

Was configured , there is no network response.

Ping to IP configured on eth0 is not responding.

How can it work although VMtools are not installed yet ?

Why you don't want install VMware Tools since VMware recommends to it ? And what kind of OS you're using ?
