Why I Can't Resize MY HD ON VM ?

Hello

i have vm that i need to resize the parion (c),on esxi 5.5hd.jpg

i power off the machine but the option is gray (see scren shot)

According to the virtual disk's file name (...-000001.vmdk), the VM has an active snapshot. Once the snapshot is deleted (using the "Snapshot Manager"), you will be able to resize the VMs virtual disk. Please note that after increasing the virtual disk size, you also have to resize the partition within the guest OS.

i deleted the snapshot but i still resize the partion.

Just saw that its an "IDE" virtual disk, which cannot be resized using the vSphere Client. Depending on the guest OS your options are to convert the VM and select a SCSI disk for the target, or resize the virtual disk manually using either the vmkfstools command line utility, or using an approach as shown in e.g. http://www.yellow-bricks.com/2012/11/07/resizing-an-ide-virtual-disk-part-two/

In any case, consider to backup the VM prior to modifying it!

i can't remove this..

it is say that that i need to delete snapshot but when i try to delete snapshot

i recevird error (see screen shot)
