Create New VM, auto add notes

Is it possible to make it so when a new VM is created, it auto adds the persons name to the VM's notes?

if no, would it be possible to have an email sent out to a specific address that a new vm had been created?

I thought I had seen this before but i cannot find it now.

Of course I find a solution as soon as I post here.

For those that want to know, or have a better solution, this is what I came up with:

1. Create a new alarm with a TARGET TYPE of "Virtual Machines"
2. Alarm Rule 1:  IF 'creating VM' (under deployment) then Trigger the alarm and 'show as Critical'
   1. Send Email Notification  "Production--> Alarm {Alarm name} on Virtual Machine : {Target Name} is {New status}"
   2. email to     "somebody that cares"@ whereever.com
3. Dont reset to Green
4. Review and save
