[400] An error occurred while sending an authentication request to the vCenter Single Sign-On server

Hello all

We had the following problem with our VCSA Webclient:

[400] An error occurred while sending an authentication request to the vCenter Single Sign-On server - An error occurred when processing the metadata during vCenter Single Sign-On setup - null. Back to login screen

Our solution was:

Connect to VCSA with Putty and login as root

shell

/usr/lib/vmware-vmca/bin/certificate-manager

cert.JPG

We choose 8 to "Reset all Certificates"

Answer the questions

After that we could log in again as usual.

I hope this solution helps you too.

Good evening, I have the same problem, but my problem is when accessing vmware from outside the network via public ip, is there any impact when performing this procedure?

Good morning Jonathan

I'm not entirely sure if it solves the problem from the outside.
The procedure will surely renew all certificates from the VCSA.

I think you should give it a try.
Let me know if it worked.
