Windows VPN not working when using wireless card

System

IBM T60

wireless card and wired, both in bridge mode.

If I use the wireless card on the host to connect to the internet in the VM VPN fails to connect. If I use the wired card on the host VM VPN connects just fine. This seems like a driver issue with VMware. Any ideas?

Thanks

More details would be helpful

What version of VMware Workstation?

What is the host OS?

What is the guest OS?

The output from ipconfig /all or ifconfig -a from both the host & guest

Post the .vmx file from the virtual machine

Since you are using Bridged networking, make sure that you are Bridged to the correct physical network adapter.

Select "Edit" -> " Virtual Network Settings"

Uncheck "Automatically choose an available physical network adapter to bridge to vmnet0" This is located on the "Automatic Bridge" tab

Select the "Host Virtual Network Mapping" tab and select the physical network adapter that you want to bridge to vmnet0 in the dropdown menu for vmnet0

HOST OS - XP

GUEST OS - XP

the ipconfig outs are the same for both HOST and GUEST except with different ips. I did manually select things as described, the only difference is wireless or not. Will post the rest of the details soon.
