Video Corruption in XP Guest OS

Guest OS: Windows XP SP2, 32-bit; latest vm tools installed

Host OS: Windows Vista 64-bit, nVidia 7900GS PCI-E

Workstation 6.0.

I built a new XP SP2 VM from scratch today, and installed the evaluation version of DXO Optics Pro v4.5 to try it out. Upon launching DXO, I get major video corruption of the DXO program window. If I slide the DXO program window off the guest desktop and move it back, the video corruption is fixed. This happens so frequently, its unusable.

I've never had video corruption before in a guest. Are there some settings I need to tweak? I had DXO 4.2 running inside another XP VM a couple of months ago, and video was perfect.

Forgot to mention that I'm running dual montors, but not in full screen mode. Setting the hardware acceleration to half-way seems to fix the problem. Is there a bug or something wrong with the vmware video driver that should be reported to VMware? Never had this problem before in all the VMs I've used.
