VMWare Professional 17 freezes randomly on Linux Kali

Hi there,

My OS Host is Linux Kali, VMWare Professional 17 freezes randomly in a few minutes this repeats after running a few minutes clearly.
My Guest is Win 10. ( Need a bit to change everything to linux).
When i change window size a bit smaller it runs a bit smooth and sequences of running smooth are a bit longer.

As i installed Linux i didnt notice that i have to install a huge swap partition. So i installed a 20G Swapfile.
I got 32G Ram and when i type swapon --show the swapfile its with 1,3 M in use.

The standard swap partition is unfurtunally only 976M big.
The swapfile is on same partition as host on an sd. I read about that a swapfile isnt that good like an swappartition.
Is it the source of freezing after some time ?

But i configure it so that first the swapfile of 20G gets in use so the swap partition of 976M is never in use.

Earlier ive got win 10 as host and everything runs perfectly that issue wont be caused by hardware imo.

Thanks for your answers and solutions

$ uname -a

Also, your  swap is way too small, you need at least 50Gb or even more depending upon your demands. If you don't have gen 4 NVMe then you should get a new box.
