VMWARE Workstation on Windows 7 64 bit host

I am running Windows 7 64 bit build 6.1.7600 with VMware workstation 6.5.3 build - 185404

All is well until I try to use a windows 7 "XPmode app - As soon as the VPC starts all my VMWARE virtual PCs crash

Any Ideas?

Yes - don't do that.

Virtual PC does something to the CPU that makes VMware crash. If you are interested in technical details read posts from jmattson - he recently posted on the very same question in another post.

For now your best option is not use Virtual PC at all - instead use a XP inside VMware
