I am running Windows 8 and have installed VMware workstation 10 and have many VM's.
I need to down grade the PC to windows 7 and was thinking i could make a VM of the windows 8 install so i would still have a copy (a VM) of my current installed programs and data.
But was thinking i might have a problem doing a P2V on the Windows 8 PC that is also where VMware Workstation is installed. I would uninstall VMware workstation in the P2V VM as there is no need for it in the VM.
Is it possible to make the a P2V of the PC running VMware workstation ?
I have install VMware Vcenter Converter Standalone or i have a Acronis backup that i could use.
What are my options.
Thanks Rainey
