When attempting to compile packages to run Vmware Player, I get an exclamation for the virtual network device. When Vmware Player attempts to start services, I get this message: Error: Unable to start services. See log file /tmp/vmware-root/vmware-modconfig-5796.log for details. The version of Vmware Player is 10.0.6
This is on a I386 architecture. When I use it on a 64 bit version, there are no problems. The distros I am working with is Mint KDE if that helps. I have looked all over to find a solution and tried different things. Such as patching components of the Vmware package.
