VMware Player unrecoverable error: (vcpu-o) NOT_IMPLEMENTED

Using Windows XP SP3 on both host and guest system, running VMware Player 3.1.3 I repeatedly get the following error message:

VMware Player unrecoverable error: (vcpu-o)

NOT_IMPLEMENTED

d:\build\ob\bora-324285\bora\devices\mainmem\mainMemHosted.c:2122

Any idea what I could do to solve this problem?

do you use nProtect Game Guard ?

i have the same error at random times it could be like after 5 mins/ 5 hours or days

but lately i keep getting it like every 15 mins

and yes the game we use on it has nprotect gameguard.

but if that is the case......then why do i get that error even when nothing else is running???

and i tried countless methods for settings and vmx adjustments and nothing seems to work

I would consider to re-install your Windows and never install  nProtect Gameguard again.

As long as you have that trash installed you can forget about VMware
