Problems with internal UMTS Card

I have a Laptop Dell D830 with Win XP and VmWare Player 2.02 with Xp running.I use the Player for Internet Surfing. The Internet Explorer is working when I have a LAN Connection with my Internet. But If I want to use My internal UMTS Card of the Laptop the Connection to the Internet is not working. What can i do????

do you use NAT or Bridged networking ?

I use bridged Network, because the Internal UMTS Card in not visible in my virtual Maschine. I tried to switch to NAT but it does t work.

?? the UMTS card will never be visible in the VM, vmware emulates its own network card

for internet surfing, leave the machine in NAT

if NAT is not working, we will debug it

do you have any security / firewall soft installed on the host ?

can you post ipconfig /all or ifconfig -a of BOTH your host & guest

plz also post the vm config file while configured in NAT mode (it's the vmx file)
