Using the VMWare converter, I converted my physical Windows XP Pro laptop to a virtual machine. I then attempted to open the VM in the VMWare Player and I am getting the following:
Did you do a sysprep first? If not, you can still save this. You should run the repair option from the XP CD. Your settings will be OK. You will have to reapply any service packs and you will have to reactivate the XP with Microsoft.
