Vmware 7.1, Windows 10, and 27" iMac Retina

I upgraded to Windows 10 and it runs and looks great.  The only problemm is the VM starts up 2560x1600 filling up about 1/3 of my screen.  I can stretch it out to cover about 80% of the screen.  It also doesn't make a difference whether I check or uncheck "Automatically adjust user interface size in the virtual machine" under Display settings.

How do I get Fusion to remember the size, each and every time it shrinks down to 1/3 of my screen size?  I then have to stretch the window.

See Fusion and build 9926 of Windows 10, Window Resizing Issue — looks like window sizing is broken in this build. It worked fine in the previous Windows 10 technical preview. Not sure if Microsoft, VMware or both have to fix this.
