Shared folder files have incorrect creation date.

I am trying to sync folders/files from a network share to a VMware Shared Folder.  Trouble is, VMware keeps changing the created date, so ViceVersa thinks it is never sync'd up.  This is killing me.  I cannot use another method since the Shared Folder  is a Firewire device and VMware doesn't have Tools/dirvers for it...

That is not the only method available.  Have you tried using normal standard built in to the OS, SMB/CIFS Shares?

At the present time no other vendor of virtualization software does either!

Man, was I short sited.  Did a windows file share, all good now.  The shared folders "should" work, kinda sad VMware...
