OS X El Capitan (10.11) host + VmWare Fusion 8 + Windows 7 guest on Bootcamp partition - stable?

This is my work / bread and butter setup - does anyone have this configuration working in a stable way?  Any observations and tips and tricks are appreciated!

After using this for two months, I can report that this combination has been very stable
