Can any version of Fusion 13 run a Guest VM running Mojave OS on an Intel Monterey Mac?

I get the impression that the VMware Compatibility Guide (http://www.vmware.com/go/hcl) states that there are no Intel macOS Guests.

Is this true?

Thanks

TL;DR Yes, but macOS VMs still work.

See https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/88697  It states that all versions of macOS have been dropped in the VMware guest OS compatibility list for Fusion 13. That's probably because VMware has deprecated support for macOS guests across all of their products. From what I see there's a bit of an internal tug-of-war between Fusion teams that would like to keep supporting macOS as a guest OS (and still document it), and the other areas (particularly the VMware Tools team) that have deprecated macOS support because they see the writing on the wall for macOS support on Intel CPUs.

However, you're still able to configure and run macOS guests in Fusion 13. It will run macOS versions up to and including Ventura (and there are reports that Sonoma will work too) on Intel Macs only (not Apple Silicon). Personally I've built and run many macOS VMs on Fusion 13, including Mojave. They do work, but be forewarned that there is little to no support for 3D acceleration for macOS which may impact some Mac applications that expect it.

Thank you.  That's good news.  I decided to update to Monterey for the time being.
