Windows NT Networking Issue

I have just done a P2V on an old Windows NT server. I have sent the machine to VMWare ESX server. The machine boots ok, but I can get networking to go. I dont have lots of experience with NT. I do know that NT is not a plug and play OS. So, the networking needs to be done manually. What I have done is to change the IP to the proper IP for the new network that it is on. I can ping out ot in. I deleted the adapter in the host settings on the virtual console, rebooted and the adapter is still there in NT. I deleted it from NT and rebooted. I went back to the settings and added a new network card, but this does no good either. When I go to add the adapter in NT, there is not vmware adapter shown. My guess is that I need to install the adapter from a driver disk.

So, is this doable ? Is it documented somewhere ? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Anthony

Thread moved to VI:ESX 3.5 forum.

You first need to add the AMD PCNet Lance network adapter, before the VMware Tools can upgrade it to the VMware Accelerated Lance one.
