We've got a ESXi 3.5 installed on a HP ML110 which will not complete reboot after a powercut.
It stays stuck on the starting config script screen (loading module IDE).
The datastore contains 3 VMs in store on the same HDD as the ESXi portion.
What is the best way to troubleshoot this ? Is there any repair procedure ?
Would a reinstall of ESXi leave the VMs intact ?
Would they need to be redefined ?
Please help, this is the first time we have to troubleshoot such an issue.
