Copied LUN not recognized

Hi,

I've copied an existing LUN to another location on my filer, took the old one offline, deleted it and finally turned the copied one online...

BUT: The ESX-Server does not recognize my copied LUN. If I choose ADD STORAGE it finds the LUN with the correct ID but wants to destroy all the containing data.

Someone has a hint how to make ESX recognize this copied LUN? Hope I can get it work again.

You can try the parameter: LVM.EnableResignaturing - it's in Configuration \ Advanced Settings.
