Licenses problem with VI 3

Hi,

We buy the VI 3 Enterprise Editon and when I install my license in VI 3... VI 3 say im VI 3 Standard...

I have try to check with http://www.vmware.com/checklicense/ and all seem to be ok.

So why my VI 3 say I have a standard version?

The VI3 Enterpriise is more of a marketing ploy to sell the suite of products that include DRS, HA and VMotion.

You can add these from the licensing screen under configuration. There is a link to open a box for addons where you can check the add ons that come with the Enterprise purchase.

That's fine the way it shows. When you click on Edit for the Add-ons, that's where you enable your Enterprise features (vmotion, HA, etc). The server type will still display as Standard, but you'll be using your Enterprise feature set.
