Hello,
I use vmware view 4.5 with PCoIP with Samsung NC240 with dual screen, ESX 4.1. With the VMs with dual screen, when I want to open console for a VM with vSphere Client 4.1.0, I have a black screen and I cannot see if the user is logged. If I restarted the VM, I can see the windows screen.
Is there a bug with vsphere or what's the problem?
Thanks.
A black screen from the console to a VM that is actively using a PCoIP session is normal behvaior. RDP sessions will present the "User X is currently logged in" screen.
+1 on Chris, this is normal behavior. If you want to shadow a session you need to use VNC or Dameware or any 3rd party product.
But hey, always call you VMware Sales Rep and let them know you want this feature. After all, we ALL want this feature...
I get this as well on 4.6 / 4.1 some sessions show a black screen while others show the user logged in (PCOIP/RDP)
Hi,
Check the following information http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=102789...
Hope this information helps you.
