View 4.6 USB Redirection Missing from Installer

Hi,

I am installing the view 4.6 agent.

Upon installation i do not get the USB Redirection option and therefore it seems the USB drivers are not installed with the agent.

I have tried this on both servers without success, the only time USB redirection has shown up is on my windows 7 desktop.

Is there some pre-requiste these servers may be missing?

Sorry this does not help at all, it is simply the release notes.

By the way the OS i am installing the agent onto is win2003 and win2008r2 terminal servers.

Then that is the problem, USB redirection is not supported on Windows Server Terminal Services Pools.

Refer Section "Troubleshooting USB Redirection Problems" at page 292 in VMware View 4.6 Administration Guide

"USB redirection is not supported for Windows 2000 systems or for View desktops that are managed by Microsoft Terminal Services"
