We just updated from view 6.0 to 6.2. Before the update everything was working ok. Now PCoIP with multiple monitors does not work. RDP with multiple monitors works just fine. PCoIP using fullscreen as the option works.
The view agent sees the 2 displays as reported by the client. But it fails to configure the displays. The user will see the blue welcome screen for a few seconds and then the connection is closed. The view desktop is running Windows 7 Ultimate.
The following is from the pcoip_server log file on the view desktop.

Does anyone have any suggestions. I have already tried re-installing vmtools and the view agent. With reboots after each uninstall and install.
The problem as far as I could determine is not with the view agent. I restored my view environment to 6.0.1 and still the problem persisted.
We had updated the vpshere environment from 5.5 U3 to 6.0. Only the desktops where the vmtools was updated were having this issue. The suggestion from roneng was helpful in helping to confirm the root cause. But the version info supplied in the post was not clear.
The for the desktops running the latest version of vmtools the version is 9.10.5.2981885.
I download the vmtools for 5.5 U3 from the vmware download site https://packages.vmware.com/tools/esx/index.html
the version is 9.4.15.2827462.
After re-installing vmtools with the 5.5 U3 version PCoIP worked with multiple monitors.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.
Are you using manual or automated pool?
Take a look at this article: Horizon View 6.2 and Blackscreens - VMware Blogs
This may also be of benefit: VMware KB: Dual monitors configured using PCoIP does not span both the monitors for VMware View
What amount of video memory did you set for the VM's?
You should try to increase it or set "Auto-detect video settings"
try reinstalling the agent the VM
After the re-install of the agent and tools can you check to see if the proper video driver is present and working. Got to Device Manager and inspect the Display Adapter. It should have VMware SVGA 3D installed, try re-installing the adapter. Is there a mismatch in the agent version and the connection manager version?
