View Composer installation docs?

Is there any docs on the Composer install?  For example, can I/should I point Composer directly to the Virtual Center DB instace/database?

it's okay to share with existing vcenter DB server. just becareful that it's not the express version with 4GB limit.  here is a tutorial: http://paulslager.com/?p=717

This is just my own personal proof-of-concept.  I'm hoping that 4 VMs + Composer doesn't hit the 4GB limit!
