vmview 4.01 setup on workstation 7

Hi

Wanted to setup a demo for vmview, so got the connection server, AD on workstation. to get this running quickly i was suggested unmannaged desktop setup. i got this going the unmanaged way using this trick

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=102722...

now  when i use vmview client to log into a VM, it shows the desktop screen  for few seconds and vmview client crashes. Although with RDP protocol it  works. i have tried the installation of vmview client on win7 & XP same rsults

based on my experienced if the RDP work the PCOIP should work as well. can you try another PC with the client installed and see? and also what's the error message during the crash?

For PCoIP to work you need to run it on ESX, you could run a virtualized ESX and put a WinXP on it.

Performance might not be the best though.
