VMware View iPad2 can't connect to desktop

I'm able to establish the initial connection to the Connection Server, but when I click on the desktop pool I receive the error "Unable to resolve address: nodename nor servname provided, or not know".  I've set the connection server by both IP and FQDN, but both fail at the same point.  This is the view client from the app store, on an iPad 2 v4.3.x.

Does PCoIP over the security gateway externally work outside of the iPad app?

Check to make sure that your connection server is not set to Secure Connection ??
