First, I'm using thin clients with view. I need the time zone to be different depending on where the thin client is located. I'm using Wyse linux based thin clients. They have the correct time zone set in them, but when I log into the XP desktop its still EST.
Second, when a user logs into a view session, should they use the profile setting from the terminal service profile tab in ADUC?
Thanks,jb

Time is in your client into the datacenter, not in your thinclient.
To have different time zone, you must use different pool.
Or create a logon script that change the time according the user location.

I just have a few users that are in different time zones. I don't want to create new pools for 1 or 2 users and in XP users don't have the rights to change the time zone so I logon script wouldn't work.
I can't belive there's not a better way, like using the time from the client machine
You can try to use a GPO.
