Horizon view minimize problem !!!

When users minimize their application which they use on Horizon Client the application disappears...

There is no option to maximize it back. they need to reopen it from over.

is there someone who has exprience about it ? maybe need some parameter on horizon server while adding application ???

Is anyone experiencing this with application publishing?   I am having the same issue with some executables.   Minimizing the application closes the connection to the application.   The behavior does not occur within the RDS server or having the client installed onto a physical desktop OS or within VDI.

This GPO does not exist in the newer version.

Though the latest horizon doc (VMware View Agent Configuration ADMX Template Settings ) do mention about this GPO but when I tried to configure it, it is actually not present after importing the agent_admx. Not sure why.

To workaround this, you can create below registry on gold image which does the same as the GPO:

Registry Hive HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

Registry Path Software\Policies\VMware, Inc.\VMware VDM\VMware Unity

Value Name AllowTinyOrOffscreenWindows

Value Type REG_SZ

Enabled Value true

Disabled Value false
