Is this the only way to configure / customize the Web Portal Page for end users?
Documentation Center for Horizon 6 version 6.1
There is no other way to make it look like our company site, or use Adobe programs to do the editing?

I ran across this site: http://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2015/02/how-to-customize-the-new-vsphere-6-0-web-client-login-ui.html You could maybe use the same concept with the web portal files.
Here are some files that appear to make up the portal page: C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware View\Server\broker\webapps\portal
You could probably modify these files to make it fit your company requirements. But of course, this wouldn't be a supported change.
