Automatic restart after user logoff

Hello everyone

Is there a built in settings that a VM restarts after a user loggoff?

I know there is the possability to "ensure desktop is always powered on" which means when a user power off the machine it will reboot but we do not allow a user to to this just log off and even with this settings the machine remains in power on state.

Do you have an idea or ways to realise this need?

I am asking due to we have problems with the machines regarding KMS and trust breaks between clients and domain. If we reboot them manually the errors are gone.

Thank you all and best regards

Please upload the VM's log file. Refer: VMware KB: Locating virtual machine log files on an ESXi/ESX host

So should the machine restart after a log off?

No, It should not. We need to analyze the logs when the server got restarted.

We need to find out the culprit by looking at VM's log file and Event viewer (If the VM is Windows).
