Horizon View Client - A network error occurred

When using the Horizon View Client 3.3 or above, if adding the connection server to the available servers just by it's name, it is not possible to launch this without an error being produced advising that a network error has occurred.

It works fine is you use the FQDN or the IP address of the connection server.

This is also not an issue with older versions of the software (i.e. the View Client 5.2.1). I did read that there was an issue with the 2.2. release of the Horizon View Client however that was resolved.

Has anyone else encountered this, or aware of the difference between versions that explains this.
