Hi everyone,
Sometime back, EMC launched AX4-5 which uses SAS and SATA disks and is also expandable like the CX series. ()
Just wondering if anyone had used it yet or any experiences to share. I'm keen to find out how it stacks up against the AX150 series as well as other entry level SANs like the DELL MD3000i, IBM DS3300, etc.
TIA!
We have one with dual fibre SP's hooked up to a couple of Dell 2950's via a couple of Brocade switches.
Not sure what to say really as it's early days and so far the thing just sits there and works, but if you have any questions let me know and if I can help/answer I will.
form my customer i use one with two iscsi sp connected with two HP DL 385. I have two group of disk (sas and sata). Excellent system no expensive and good performance.

I am about to purchase similar config.
Has anybody installed this as a High Availibility Cluster?
Are you using standard NIC's or is anybody using iSCSI HBA's (don't think they are supported)
Cheers
